Why We Count Down to the Experience Lumiere Christmas in July Sale Every Year

If there's one sale our family waits for every summer, it's the Experience Lumiere Christmas in July Sale.

It might seem funny to be thinking about Christmas while we're still swimming, chasing fireflies, and trying to stay cool, but if you've visited Experience Lumiere before, you understand why families get excited when this sale rolls around.

Every year, the Christmas in July sale has offered some of the best value of the entire season. Last year was especially hard to beat. Not only were season passes available at incredible prices, but they also included an exclusive refillable stainless steel hot chocolate tumbler. Throughout the season, passholders could enjoy hot chocolate refills while exploring the park. The tumbler wasn't sold separately, making it a special perk available only during the Christmas in July promotion.

It's one of those purchases that pays for itself after just a few visits.

Why Our Family Loves Experience Lumiere

We've visited Experience Lumiere several times, and somehow our girls never seem to do the exact same thing twice.

Well... almost never.

There are a few attractions that are absolute "must-dos" every single visit.

The snow tubing hill is always at the top of the list. No matter how many times they race down it, they're ready to climb right back up for another run.

Next comes the light maze, where they'll happily wander through glowing pathways trying to find the quickest route while making it feel like a new adventure every time.

And then there are the giant inflatables. If you've got energetic kids, prepare to spend some time here because ours could bounce for hours.

Of course, those aren't the only reasons we keep coming back.

Walking the beautiful light trail has become one of our favorite family traditions. We love grabbing dinner or a sweet treat from the food trucks, and no Christmas visit feels complete without stopping by to meet Santa before heading home.

It's one of those rare events that truly offers something for every age. The kids stay entertained, the adults get to slow down and enjoy the festive atmosphere, and everyone leaves with memories that last well beyond the holidays.

Why We Buy During Christmas in July

For us, it's simple.

We know we'll be visiting more than once.

Instead of trying to squeeze everything into a single evening, season passes let us enjoy opening night excitement, quieter weekday visits, special family outings, and even one last trip before the lights go out for the season.

There's no pressure to "do it all" in one night because we know we'll be back.

If this year's sale is anything like previous years, it'll be one worth watching. While we don't know exactly what this year's promotion will include, we're hoping to see another fantastic value and maybe even another fun exclusive for passholders.

We'll be keeping a close eye on the announcement and will share all the details with Hometown Family Guide readers as soon as they're released.

If Experience Lumiere has been on your family's Christmas bucket list, the Christmas in July sale is usually the best time to make those plans.
